Dr. Martens shoes

Dr. Martens - stunning shoes

The history of subculture is a chronicle of being different. Back in the 1950s, when the first generation of teenagers fired up a youth revolution, their goal was to look and behave differently to their parents. Previously, young people had been stylistic carbon copies of their elders. But with the advent of first-generation rock 'n' roll and also Teddy Boys, a generational schism cracked open that would never again be rendered shut.

These shoes are also a sign of rock and British people. I love them, amazing idea from ski trip :)

Gold accessories

A number of trends can be seen in gold this year, with an increasing emphasis on craftsmanship and the designer. The emergence of 'designer jewellery' in India is also making room for the creation of gold ornaments that are trendy and stylish, but still offer the classic value of gold. It also allows you to buy jewellery as an investment, without compromising on style. "Luxury brands are built on the cult of the designer, on a consumer's fascination for the vision and the worlds created by them," states David Lamb, Managing Director of the World Gold Council. "Consumers seek out designers who understand gold's status as the ultimate creative material, and make pieces which encapsulate their personal values and dreams." Moreover, several international fashion labels, which focussed primarily on costume jewellery, are now paying close attention to their lines of fine jewellery. "They acknowledge gold's eternal values with the electric current of couture," Lamb points out.

As craftsmanship becomes the focus, intricacy in design allows you to make an impact with your jewellery, without wearing very heavy and impractical pieces. Lamb rightfully adds, "The intrinsic malleable quality that gold has allows it to be crafted into delicate, feminine forms." Further to that, with detailing in metal, you can make a great impact by simply wearing a single statement piece. "Opt for one-off statement pieces, as the trend moves away from matching 'sets' of jewellery, which seem as rather old-fashioned to some," suggests Lamb.

The intricate detailing that gold has been seeing this season is also making room for the metal to become more versatile in terms of purpose in a piece of jewellery. "It has evolved from being merely a setting metal to becoming the star of the show," Lamb elucidates. "Gold is becoming the central point of visual interest in pieces-for example, a solid gold bead as the pendant on a silver chain." Versatility in gold goes a step further this season, with the combination of gold with not just precious gemstones, but also semi-precious stones and other alternative materials. "Even ceramic can be used in supporting combinations of materials," suggests Lamb. "And as gold's versatile status grows, pieces will increasingly celebrate its value and beauty."

Casio watch

I fell in love with this watch a few weeks ago, about the time when i´ve started admiring everything gold. Since then, I´ve bought many gold accesories, but I definitely miss this :)
Generally, I hate watches with circle displays, and digital numbers. Casio gold watch are just exception.
Which watch are your favourite?

Dior oui ring - definitely lovely
What better way to say "yes" to true love then this ring from christian dior?

Gold accessories 4 men
Gold has generally been well overlooked recently in men’s fashion, especially in the younger audience.
With many jewellery shops flooding the market with cheap low cost gold, it meant any old Tom, Dick or Harry could go and pick up a few big gold chains, bracelets and watches and throw them all on in some sort of mess for bragging rights as to how much they could afford. It is a shame really because gold accessories can really look amazing in the right outfit.
Two things really set gold off nicely: mixing with dark colours like blacks and greys, and a good tan (or darker coloured skin tones). This is because when there is such a contrast between 2 colours it makes the gold come alive and stand out. Gold accessories are perfect for the summer.
The key to wearing gold well is to not go overboard - hence the Mr.T picture above to remind you - it is about subtly and just setting an ouchain and watch would also work well with a nice crisp black shirt and skinny tie.
You can rock any look with the right gold accessories. P.E. a formal shirt with skinny jeans and a slim tie set off with a beautiful gold watch or sunglasses. Casual outfits can be made with a simple graphic tee, denim jeans/shorts, a retro gold Timex/Casio watch and fedora/straw hat. Notice in either of these outfits, the gold just “adds” a little extra to it. It’s not going to be in your face; with chains and bracelets draped all over you, it is simply going to add some elegant style and contrast to it.

So don’t be afraid to dip your toes back into the world of gold. A lot of men my age (mid-twenties) are scared to buy it now and I think it’s a totally backward point of view. Some of these accessories below are so classy and would look amazing. Gold accessories are also massive again in women’s fashion so for you to be a confident male rocking something right on trend should score you some nice points!
If you feel more confident about it, look for some great gold jewellery for men – P.E. a nice small chain because it can be tucked into your shirt or t-shirt and just add a little extra to your look. Titanium rings are available in two tone and can look quite good if you wear rings normally. Black and gold mix accessories are also great either in watches or footwear. I have put a couple of great examples of gold mix footwear in there to show you just how well gold/black and gold/brown looks together.tfit off with one or 2 great accessories. A gold watch and gold framed sunglasses are a good mix without going too far. Or a small

Unfortunately, this idea about men´s jewellery isnt´t mine but from blog http://www.fashionbeans.com WHICH I ABSOLUTELY LOVE
